Indeed, it's a great game, and I still play it frequently (at least when I have time.)

I really wish they'd port the L4D maps over to use the new infected on the older maps. And by porting over, I mean Valve officially release them.

The problem is asking Valve to do anything means a 2 year wait.
They are a great company, but they seem in capable of doing very basic and obvious things for the community in a timely manner.
